Damon Walker is a contrabass instructor, performing musician, and luthier who hails from New York City where he spent his earlier years as a furniture maker, architecture student, and bassist performing with many acts throughout New York’s famous venues, The Bottom Line, CBGB’s, and the like.
In 1995 an apprenticeship with world renown luthier David Gage (NY) perfectly united Damon’s woodworking, design experience, and passionate love of bass into what would become his life’s focus.
